Senior Naval Science Instructors

Dear Parents/Guardians

Your child has chosen an elective course, which will teach them the three Rs Responsibility, Respect and Role Modeling.  We will stress responsibility each and every day.  We will encourage the cadets to set the standards for behavior around the school.  We would like the student body at Miami Beach Sr. High to look up to our cadets for respects and view them as role models for proper behavior and conduct.  We guarantee that what we teach in NJROTC will help the cadet succeed in life.

We are starting our fifth year of NJROTC here at Miami Beach.  This year we will incorporate a few new ideas and programs to motivate and help the cadets reach their highest potential.  One of the areas that we consider critical to the success of each cadet is the Behavior Contract.  The cadets are told at the beginning of the year what is expected of them, and what they must do to achieve their full potential.  We ask your assistance in going over this contract with your cadet again at home, and ensure they understand their responsibilities.  Please sign and return the contract to the NJROTC Instructor with your child during the first week of school.

We anticipate a very rewarding year for the NJROTC unit.  We look forward to helping your child set goals they can be proud to achieving.  Please do not hesitate to call us at the unit if you have questions or concerns, and you are always welcome to drop by and meet with the instructors.  Our direct line is 305-532-7128.  Thank you in advance for your concern and support!
